Spreadsheets can be a journalist best friend: they can help you make sense of your data and are so easy to use compared to other data analysis tools! This course will take you beyond the basics so feel free to join if you are already familiar with the basics such as formatting, sorting, filtering and basic formulas. This course will help you to see some of the magic spreadsheets are able to perform, such as complex formulas like ‘vlookup’ and pivot tables, one of the most powerful tools for summarising data in spreadsheets.
